I love getting my car worked on here! Maggie and Dan at the front desk are so nice. They are always so helpful and do an amazing job answering all my dumb car questions. Jim helped me find a new wheel on my car that was hard for discount tires to get, same day I asked for it and did it for cheaper. Every time I bring it up for an oil change or standard maintenance, the guys working on the car always check it top to bottom to make sure everything is in order. I don’t take my car anywhere else for its auto needs. They are amazing!

I don't normally leave reviews for places I never went to, but the phone call was enough. I called to see about setting up an appt for a car inspection. I live an hour and a half away and will be in town tomorrow, so I thought I might be able to get set an appt to get my elderly parents' car inspected. When I asked if the shop does inspections, a very RUDE, Jim told me they do. I asked if there was any chance they would have time for one the next day. He said the only time he had was 2:30 and I told him I could make that work. He was very short with me and took all the information, but definitely sounded inconvenienced by my call and my request. I thanked him and was unceremoniously hung up on. A matter of minutes later, I was informed by my folks that they had another appt elsewhere at that time, so I would not be able to take the car in at 2:30. I immediately called back and got Jim again. I apologized and explained that I wouldn't be able to make it at 2:30 and would take the car elsewhere, but that I would keep him in mind for any future service we needed. If I could write a -10, I would. I just called to ask about an inspection and not only was he rude during the conversation, but hung up as I was trying to speak to him. I hope his day gets better, I pray he is not this rude with everybody.

I am so very impressed with and grateful for Jim, the owner, and all the staff at Midwest! When my car had a catastrophic engine damage, they were so patient and helpful throughout the entire process! Jim was especially kind in educating me on the exact issue my car had and how to fix it, prevent it in the future, and what it was worth to fix it. He also advised, since it was a big repair, that I might need to get another car instead. Thankfully, with the help of my warranty, I was able to pay for the repair, and I am very happy with the work that they did!! Thank you Jim, and everyone at Midwest!!

Have had great experiences here the 3 times I’ve been. The owner takes the time to explain what is going on with your car and what is priority to fix. Would recommend for sure!
